Kate is a highly experienced consultant with more than 20 years’ experience across leadership, education, and quality improvement.
She has driven strategic improvement across Further Education, Independent Training Providers, and employer-led provision, supporting organisations to strengthen quality, governance, and organisational performance.
As a former executive leader and board advisor, Kate brings extensive experience in mentoring senior leadership teams, improving governance effectiveness, and embedding sustainable improvement strategies.

Rob Mottram Founding Director
Rob is an experienced quality and performance specialist with expertise across Independent Training Providers, colleges, and offender learning provision.
Having led quality assurance and learner experience teams throughout his career, Rob brings significant operational insight into improving quality systems, teaching and learning, and organisational performance.
Known for his collaborative and approachable style, he supports organisations to drive improvement, strengthen accountability, and achieve better outcomes for learners and stakeholders.

Dr Gareth Thomas Founding Director
Gareth brings deep expertise in public sector policy, skills development, and strategic planning.
Having held senior national roles within the Learning and Skills Council and Skills Funding Agency, he has extensive experience supporting economic growth, organisational diversification, and strategic development within the UK skills sector.
His work focuses on helping organisations navigate change, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen long-term strategic positioning.
